Michelle takes over for Suze this episode - how do you think she does? She was at the GameArena Red Cliff Screening in Melbourne, checking out what punters thought of the film and there seems to be pretty good results.

Listen, DJ Jazzy Jeff (of DJ Jazzy & The Fresh Prince fame) thinks that being a DJ Hero playable character is "probably the biggest thing" that has ever happened to him. His words.
According to a press release from Activision Jazz is bringing two tracks hand mixed to the game, Tears for Fears "Shout" vs. Eric B. & Rakim "Eric B. Is President" and LL Cool J "Rock the Bells" vs. The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra "Bittersweet Symphony".
DJ Hero will be releasing on the Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii in the summer, summer, summertime (I'm so, so sorry). If the embed isn't working, you can hear DJ Jazzy Jeff gush about the game in videos library here.
The Command & Conquer 4 Debut Trailer is up now, and it's looking pretty good. Kreese posted an in-depth look at all the information we've been able to get our hands on to date earlier this month.
Watch the trailer here if the embed function isn't working for you - any thoughts on what goes down?
This week Andy takes aim at the PotUS's console recommendations, plays Wii Sports Resort with Heather from Nintendo, contemplates the release of a CSI game from Ubisoft and chats to the attendees of the GameArena Red Cliff event!
Watch the latest episode now - have you picked up Wii Sports Resort yet? Any thoughts?
Another 24 tracks have been announced for Guitar Hero 5 ahead of its September 1 release. The BigPond Music team has added the tracks to their dynamic playlist as well, so you can check out snippets of the tracks.
There's a pretty decent video playlist being hosted at Yahoo Music (videos are metered content) as well - not all the tracks are available, but many are. You can see the current setlist as it stands in the previous news post here.
I've been playing in the Aion beta Weekends for a little while now and it's interesting to see how far removed it is from your typical Asian MMO - we'll have a preview on the game soon.
Still, the influences are still there, and one of the cool things brought to my attention was the almost Final Fantasy-esque summons controlled by the game's Pet controlling class - the Spiritmaster.
The Spiritmaster is actually an off-shoot of the Mage class - once you hit level 10 you change roles into one of two different classes. A Mage can either be a Sorcerer or a Spiritmaster - a caster dps or a pet dps class.
The beta is beginning to open up now - you can get in if you preorder the game (something which has always been a bit of a riddle - why preorder to get a beta to see if you like a game or not?) Do you think this is the MMO for you?
Q.V. Software is handling the distribution of the game in Australia.
The legendary director of The Evil Dead movies and the Spiderman trilogy - plus recent comedy horror Drag Me to Hell - is confirmed to be directing the movie based on the spawn of the biggest MMO in the world, Warcraft.
The film adaptation of the Warcraft series was announced years ago - Raimi's attachment is only very recent. The piece on Kreese's favourite site says filming will begin after Spiderman 4...
So here's the million dollar question - would you go see a Warcraft movie? Also, you don't get $1 million dollars regardless of your answer.
Variety on Warcraft.
And it's been confirmed by Blizzard too now - Raimi said in the press release,
Edit - Corrected the title - it's Warcraft, not World of Warcraft. Thanks Farmy for spotting it!
GameArena has scored an awesome exclusive trailer for Dirt 2 - the latest title in the Colin McRae series. We've had some hands-on time with Dirt 2, and everything we like about Rally games is there - great graphics, effects and AI and... Great crashes.
If the embedded video isn't working, watch the video in our library now. Dirt 2 is aiming for release this September on 360, PS3 and PC which brings up something else - is 2009 really light on good racers? The Wipeout HD DLC releases next week, then Dirt 2 in September - anything else worth looking forward to?
Heya Melbournites - if you won tickets to the GameArena screening of Red Cliff tomorrow night make sure you say hello to Andy at the screening - our Weekly Updater will be there, video camera in hand to record an episode of Street Talk.
Suze won't be attending but apparently Andy's big pimping - he's found another person to fill in for Suze. So say hi, get on Street Talk and give big shout-outs to Joaby! It's all too easy!
If you're heading to the Sydney screening by the way, Benny & Richie will be present and they love being mobbed. Also Television's Cameron Knight is coming, which is pretty cool. And Joaby will be there, but that's less cool. Who else is going, and to which cinema?
This isn't one hundred percent confirmed yet, but it looks like the Prestige Edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be $200 - or so says EBGames on Twitter.
About an hour ago the EBGamesAus tweeted,
Before following up the news that you can preorder the massive special edition for both the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 from tomorrow on.
The markup on NVGs between Australia and the US isn't actually as bad as most feared - US punters can expect to pay around $185(AUD) for their copy of the game with bonus goggles. So - $200 for probably the biggest game of the year and a set of Night Vision Goggles... Worth it? Considering EBGames' usual pricing structure for blockbuster titles, $200 means the Night Vision Goggles are worth around $80. Not too bad. We'll try to confirm this price point as soon as possible.

Activision confirmed the Prestige Edition is coming to only PS3 and Xbox 360 in Australia - though they haven't confirmed the price (EBGames has).
