The game plays a lot like the other Age of Empire games, with newer civilisations and scenarios. The campaign has had a boost and requires more skill versus the harder teams.

I have never played a game before that could make you alomst pee your pants before you let go. IF you like RTS games this is the one for you. There are so many strategies that can be used and every single game is totally different. The game can be single player as well as multiplayer, both plenty of fun.

Age of Empires II is one of the most addictive and all round best game I have ever played without a doubt. Age of Empires II changed my opinion about real-time strategy games and I am eager to buy Age of Empires III when it arrives.

It's first light and it's time to take command of your civilization, you set your villages to work some of them will be tasked to find food to feed your nation, others will be constructing housing and collecting lumber while the strongest of your state will be mining for precious metals and building materials. Using the resources your people provide you train an army to protect them and expand your empire taking other civilizations down with your combined might.

All that and more is all in a days work when playing the gargantuan game that is Age of Empires 2.
