A ravenous, savage beast being quelled with the self-absorbed sacrifice by a pompous ass of his youngest, loveliest daughter is more probably of interest to Child Protective Services than a gentler soul - unless said soul might have an unhealthy fascination with Schadenfreude. Barring that, let us explore our tale a little more fully to discover what kinds of perverse justification might be at play.
