A new patch for Unreal Tournament 2004 has been released, taking the sci-fi shooter to version 3339. The patch includes the usual huge list of changes, mostly fixes to client-side issues. Check out the full list and grab the patch now right here on GameArena. The GameArena servers have been updated, though as with previous patches, compatibility between versions has been retained so you don't have to upgrade (though it is always recommended).

GameArena Ladders Restarting!

Term @ 02:27pm 22/10/04
The GameArena ladders will restart tomorrow, Friday 22nd October at 12 noon. We have finally completed the integration of the ladder system into the new look and feel of the site and thanks to the great testing by the ET ladder folk, everything is go!
With that in mind, all ladders that were previously in Regulation play, will again be placed into regulation play tomorrow. All ladders that were in free-play will be placed back into free-play. Natural Selection and Desert Combat will shortly be shifting into regulation play, and its important to point out that DC will be using DC Final.
Again, thanks all for giving us the time to get the ladders integrated, and good luck to all the participants!

Well, it's been a long season (3 months :o) but we're finally at the finals season. Challenges were locked on Sunday the 29th, and the last of the challenges for the top 8 clans finished yesterday, leaving us with the teams who will compete for the win.
clanfear, 27, NODE, Chinese Tea Party, Freaks, F clan, Sinister and Volt will fight it out in a different elimination method to usual, you may be familiar with it if you watch AFL, if not, check it out here.
Finals Begin next week, exact times to be advised, but we hope to have "Unreal Television" working by that stage, so you should be able to watch the games as they happen as though you were really spectating them! Fun for all the family, so make sure you're there.
Goodluck to all participants, give it all you've got =)
