A quick note for people purchasing this game: If you are encountering problems with the installation not completing, uninstall PunkBuster and any PhysX drivers already on your PC.

To be honest i hadn't got past the first 5 minutes of the game, i couldn't handle how bad the gameplay felt, how UNLIKE medal of honour it actually was. Massive let down, (although i had a feeling it would fail.)

This is a game that feels as though development has been stopped half way through with the attitude "that'll do". It feels as though it could be so much more, but in the end is just another Medal of Honor. To be honest, it almost seems that the game has not evolved from the first in the series.

Don't get me wrong I do enjoy playing this game, however it just seems that for all the potential of the concept, there too many elements which spoil the game. And if I hear one more German soldier scream "Die American" I think I'll throw up all over my keyboard: Anyway here are my real criticism's of the game.

The maps are too small. For an open fighting concept, the maps really only have limited objectives and limited means of getting to them. Many of the battles fought in the game suffered from serious miss-drops and I think that it would have added more to the game if you randomly had to hump and fight a decent distance to get to your objective. Likewise the missions are too short.

Idiotic Nazi super soldiers who wander around brandishing MG-42 machine guns and take half a dozen shots to the head before they drop. I don't care how tough the German solidiers were in WW2, or their armour, shoot someone in the head with a .303 and their not going to stand their shooting back at you. It seems the game designer's these in as an after thought just to make the levels tougher and last longer.

Really bad rag doll effects when shooting the enemy. If you shoot someone with a weapon, Newtonian physics demands that, for someone to be blown backwards head over heels after being shot in the head, the shooter will also have to do the same. Sometimes it's good, shoot someone in the head and they might just drop in a heap, but more often than not in the game, Nazi's end up spinning off A over T. It's just too Hollywood and ends up detracting from the game.

All in all, I still like to play this game. The open concept is fun, trying different tactics and routes (limited as they are) is fun and despite the cons, makes the game somewhat replayable. It's just that the game seems like it could be so much better. You can't even prone for christsakes, just kneel or stand and shoot.

I guess it'll have to satisfy until COD4 comes out, now to try that demo.

I just finished this game a few days ago, and i have to say it was Bloody good.

MOHA uses the U3 Engine and you will be reminded of Bioshock (if you have played that) cause the player model is pretty much the same.

There is minor body awareness but only when you die or when you are in the air and using your parachute.

The gameplay is fantastic and the "Start Anywhere" is a nice touch which gives for some replayability (But not too much).

But playing this it makes me wonder why a game like Bioshock is sooo buggy, they both use the same "Base" engine (UE3) (i know Bioshock had been modded, not sure about this) which makes Bioshock "Seem" like a bad port in terms of pure buggy-ness, but makes this game look and feel like it was made for the PC.

The graphics for this game are funking amazing to say the least (and this is all in DX 9!) The actor models, textures, weapons etc etc etc are perfect.

Even their Weapons upgrading system was great (nothing like having a fully upgraded german pistol ) it goes 3 upgrades per weapon (even grenades) and you get upgrades from making kills with said weapon/grenade.

I give this game 4/5 stars while a great game it still lacks in some areas.
