overall is not to bad but great game to play it part like you were back in 1940 it seem nearly for real, my grandfather and his brother who went to WW2 as my grandfather and his brother went war in eupore they told us about things in germany and france which is chilly story ever i hear.

damn sexy game, beats the hell outta anything.
This game got me hooked on first person shooters and i wouldnt trade it in for any game in the world now, clan wars are great, good fun with people of similar skill to you makes it interesting and hard to win :) even single player against bots its fun.. not as cool as online play though :P

Wide Weapon ranges, and user friendly. This is one for all to enjoy!

Its a great game, and a very nice comm. Always the friendly camper and it's changed from 1.0b where I knew everyone now I don't know anyone but I spose that's how it moves into the future.

A great game that is noob friendly, different maps provide a a chance for practicing different weapons, how ever campers can ruin an otherwise good game.

As a realistic game Day of Defeat cant be beat. Based on WW2 missions/campaigns. Even with an average ping the game is still playable.

DoD is fast, balanced and action-packed section level combat. The physics and 'feel' of the game are quite genuine, and does a better job of putting you in the combat boots of a soldier in 1944 than other games.
No vehicles, but who needs them? All wars come down to infantry, and DoD does it best. Weave through rubble, scramble from supressing MG42 fire and experiance building-to-building fighting at its finest.
