The p90 is an awesome weapon. First though you have to learn to use it. use short bursts at long range and wait for the crosshair to close up. at short range. LET LOOSE. but if you run out of rounds quickly switch to your sidearm(if you dont carry one you are stupid) the p90 properly used is even better than the ak in maps such as cs_italy or de_cbble. open areas are slight deathtraps. stick to the walls
When you are under fire as a TERRORIST camp in areas such as the storage and projector, get a mate to boost you onto the bookcases and wait for them to come through from garage
Use nades to your advantage when camping. Awping can also be effective if you are in the projector room aim at a spot that will take out multiple positions.
As a CT you must use the advantage of space, you have alot of it. Try to outflank people at sidehall pushing them back in. Always throw a nade around and then a flasher because then they are blinded and its EASY PICKINGS FOR U! use the accuracy of the m4 as an advantage and help ur mates out. If u dont help ur maps as a CT on office its going to be hard to win.
When scouting crouch to get better accuracy, and aim for the head of the enemy. when used correctly the scout is way better than an awp, even though the awp is a 1 shot kill 99% of the time, the scout is lighter and easier to aim and maneuver.
crouch while shooting your and crosshair wil become smaller and you move slow but soundless and your harder to see you can get into better hiding places
With your knife you can sneak behind people and kill them. But i am going to be telling you the basics and most important things for the knife. With the left click of ur knife you can hit them 25% of their health but with right click you can hit 50%! witch is alot more than 25% but the good thing about the knife is that when you sneak behind them and right click on their back you hit them a 100% becouse their not exspecting it.
1. Firstly, don't spam the person you are aiming at, always shoot 2-6 bullets. (mid-range)
2. For long range, shoot about 2-4 bullets becuase 2-6 will still do a big a spam. (long range)
3. Spam like hell, but don't spam to much, spam about 10-15 bullets at a time and you'll be a muster. (very close range)
Its is useful to aim while your strafing and not crouching. It is not good to crouch in combat, but maybe if your sneaking behind them or something, then you can crouch and take your time. For sure if you verse someone in a combat and they crouch; is that not easy to kill? I know its a habit, when you get scared you just crouch and spray hoping you kill him.
Key to the game is to maintain your mental abilities and not freak out. It takes a while, to learn but eventually after your pratise and get better you soon will be a pro in the game (also includes other abilities as well such as listening and the ability to identify where your enemy is ). Laters
Hello I am sure all of you are aware at how usefull a pistol can be when your carrying that SMG and suddenly run out of ammo with 2 people still left just down the corridor. Well luckily for you I'm here to tell you how to use the Compact (P228) pistol as a powerful weapon in any match.
First off this gun is not easy for people with low skill levels, i would advise you to be able to get decent headshots in most situations or this gun is not a good use for you.
Ok, the P228 is a fast firing accurate pistol that does 100+ damage to the head at a short-mid range. Here are 3 tips to using it.
Long range-the p228 does not excell in long range however it is still very accurate, the main thing to remember is the first shot counts, get the first or second shot a headshot, this will take them down about 75 hp since they are so far away, now aim a little lower and spam at there body at a decent 2 shots per second rate, this will definatly be accurate enough to finish them, and finish them fast.
whatever you do. dont stay in crouded areas. or on top of someone. because as much as you think your protected by your team. your more likely to get killed because you are easier to spot!
I have now been playing cs for about 6 year now. Well around about when the 1.4 patch was out. The basic tips i can give for anyone is
1. Learn the maps... if you down know the maps you dont really have a general idea of where the enemies are going to pop out from...
2. When aiming at a long distance, if you have a clear shot crouch and shoot in a tiny burst while aiming for the head. If you dont have a clear shot do the same but dont crouch, instead strafe and and shoot in tiny bursts wen you get to the endpoints of your strafing (your aiming is more accurate wen you shoot at the end pionts as u r still for that split second) Practice this and you will find people will find it alot harder to hit you,while its more easier for you to frag everyone else.
When aiming at a short distace...dont be afraid to spray.. As you are spraying you bullets at your enemy slowly drag your aimer down as you can actually even out your recoil to an equal point of accuracy.. This is called a control spray... this takes practice
If the enemy is doing the same thing every round eg camping in a hallway walk out with you crosshair pointing and that position of even prefire it. A big part of the game is having the ability to know what you enemy will do. It is better to be able to kill someone by oursmarting them rather then trying to outaim them.
To spray effectivly, KNOW THE GAME. I have played for about a year and a half and I know Source so well that I know when to spray or when not to spray and it has helped me win many times.
To use a shotgun effectivly, make sure that you jump around like an idiot, this will make it harder to hit you and will not negativly effect your aim because the shotgun spreads anyway. Aim more for the chest than the head because if you hit the chest more bullets are likely to hit the target doing more damage.

Do not always double scope, unless at extreme range the single scope of the AWP. The only distance you will need to double scope for is perhaps the double doors on de_dust2 from T Spawn - Doors or vice versa. The main disadvantage...

1. Headphones & Sound: Learn to use sound to your advantage, and wear headphones so you can easily tell where the enemy is coming from. Also learn the sounds that different surfaces make, because once you do know, you don't even have to wonder where they are going to come from, you will know!
2. Radar: Learn to use your radar. If your radar is empty in one section, then go there, that s where the enemy is. Alternatively, if the blue dots disappear from your screen and your team is dying, thetas where the enemy will be. Move to a good location and kill them.
3. Aim: Aim for the head, ALL THE TIME!!! Don't run around with your crosshairs pointed at the ground or some other height other than head height. And when you come around a corner, just keep the side of your crosshair on the edge of the wall. Doing this means as soon as you come around a corner and see and enemy you will most likely have your crosshairs lined up for a headshot, and you will get a quick kill.
4. Maps: Learn the maps. If you don t know the maps you are easy pickings...
A great tip for learning to use a scout mainly or indeed any full scoped weapon is: in practice, aim at a wall and put a tiny piece of blu-tac on ur screen right in the center of ur crosshair. This will take some time to get perfectly in the middle.
Once you have done that find s server with only a couple people and practice using the sniper rifles unscoped using the blutac as ur crosshair. before long you will be able to make unscoped kills and will be able to aim fast when u scope
This is mostly useful if u get sneaked up on by the enemy and ur at too close of a range to use scope.
