I find it a lot easy to survive longer if you shoot and run, they can't hunt you using the radar if they can't catch you!

All Ghillied Up hint

In the area before you carry MacMillan to the Ferris Wheel, you will notice a large group of dogs. If you don't shoot them, then in the final standoff, a large horde of wild doge will make their way to the battle and attack your enemies and distract them; allowing you to kill them more easier. This could be a life-saver.

NOTE: If you DO shoot them, then the dogs will attack YOU instead of the enemy. And this will happen every 3 minutes. Not helpful when you are trying to hold 100 Russians back.

HardCore
Sat 14 Jun 08, 12:02pm

When you start out, Hard Core may seem a bit daunting but it gives you a better chance, use your m16 with a one shot kill. Although you willd ie a lot you will get more kills

The Prestiges
Sat 05 Apr 08, 9:49am

Why go into the Prestiges, on the game?

First, why would you want to lose all you're weapons like the Golden AK47 you love so much.

It makes you used to all the weapons in the game, and helps you learn new stratigies.

I've been through 3 of them, and working on the forth. Heres one thing that I learned:

Always have a class for each type weapon, and sort it in the order you use them the most. And everytime you get redtiger for somthing, switch to another weapon and work on that. It is always good if you're good at all the weapons.
1. If you run out of ammo, you would pick up a random weapon, right? Well, if you train on all of them, you'd be Good at it.
2. NEVER use Cage matches to get good weapons, thats not skill, thats just being too lazy to do the dang work you're self....

Choose a Gun
Fri 06 Jun 08, 6:36pm

I suggest using the AK, MP5 or the AK-47U for Hardcore modes, but DO NOT use the Red Dot. The Red Dot is very deceiving and jumps around alot in the recoil. Use just the normal Ironsites for my kills and better accuracy.

More Damage
Thu 19 Jun 08, 2:18pm

On weapons with low damage, besides the G3, try using stopping power / double tap. Stopping power will increase the initial damage. Double tap, will double the damage though. But be careful, you may run out of bullets quickly.

Martydom
Fri 12 Dec 08, 10:42am

A nice perk for getting some cheap kills after you die, but if you're on a server that has Friendly Fire (common in Harcore servers), make sure you use a class that doesn't have Martydom. If you kill your team mates after you die, you're not going to be very popular.

ok i have the best perks if you want more kill and fast
1. bandolier
2. stoping power
3. deep impact

i find that these are the best perks out for any gun acept sniper for sniper i suggest you use Claymores instead of bandolier unless playing like TDM. hope my tip helps.

Stealth.
Sun 03 Feb 08, 5:37pm

With Hardcore mode, sometimes stealth will give you an advantage, because they rarely have their radars, so dead silence is kind of useless BUT UAV Jammer will be really useful. So next time you play a hardcore match you may want to think of replacing the extra stopping power for a major stealth advantage.

Good Luck.

General Advice
Mon 21 Apr 08, 1:45am

-Possibly the most useful thing to know is that you make no noise when you move whilst crouched or aiming.

-Be versitile: If you are sniping, pick up an effective close quarters weapon off of a fallen enemy or comrade. Think outside the constraints of your class and kit.

-When sniping, the longer you hold your breath the more accurate your shots are. Good rule of thumb in current patch is to wait for atleast 1 heartbeat before firing. If you want to rush your using the wrong gun.

-Cook your grenades, 3 seconds will make it blow at about 15meters. That way they cannot be avoided or thrown back!

-Regardless of what perks or weapons others use, just accept it. There is no need to get offensive if someone uses "tubes" or "juggernoob". At the end of the day they are public servers where people play to relax, so don't ruin it for them, if you want to play seriously, enter a competition, otherwise have fun and enjoy yourself...its just a game.

Keep on playing
Sat 22 Dec 07, 1:34pm

Multiplayer tip:

It might seem pointless when you keep on dying more than you kill, but everything counts. You will eventually start unlocking more and more stuff as you progress in rank, adding very useful perks and spawning weapon mods, making the fight so much easier after each death.
