Deus Ex: Human Revolution Director's Cut coming to Wii U
Last year Straight Right - the Australian developers responsible for the excellent Wii U port of Mass Effect 3 - explained that they were working on two additional titles for the system. One was their own IP and the other was a big name we would learn more about closer to launch.
And now we know - it was Deus Ex: Human Revolution. As learned by Eurogamer the Director's Cut of Human Revolution will feature a variety of balances and reworking - and most importantly, this includes the boss fights. Boss fights are now capable of being handled (non-lethal options are still unavailable as they can't change the story) in a variety of ways, instead of the single run and gun tactic of the original battles. Other fixes which have made their way to the Director's Cut include a revamped energy system, smoother graphics and better AI. Naturally, being a Wii U game means the GamePad is now supported and there are different ways you can use it, like radar and the Neural Hub - which allows you to assess enemy positions and strength and find important objects. All in all, it sounds pretty excellent - these kinds of improvements make the game worth getting again. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.
