Supergiant Games new title is Transistor

Supergiant Games are well known for their first title Bastion - the action-RPG with an amazing soundtrack, excellent story and reactive narration. Now Supergiant are finished releasing Bastion on every platform under the sun (seriously - it's even available on the Chrome Web Store) they have announced their new title - Transistor.

Transistor takes place in the futuristic city of Cloudbank, playing a girl named Red who wields a gigantic sword. Supergiant have said the gameplay will blend strategic planning and fast paced Bastion style action. The reveal trailer for Transistor is embedded below - it's currently available through Youtube, so it's metered content, but I'll be sure to update the post once it hits our servers. It's hard to judge from a single short trailer, but so far Transistor looks excellent to me - 2014 is too far away. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below.

Meanwhile, in other Supergiant Games news, Bastion is the first title to go on sale in The Humble Weekly Sale - so if you somehow haven't played Bastion yet you can get now get a Steam copy and a DRM free copy for as low as $1. Beating the average will also get you a digital artwork pack, the brilliant soundtrack and Android and iPhone ringtones, while $25 will get you physical merchandise - like The Kid's bandana! I would never wear a bandana because I am not a) a cowboy or b) a dance major, but it's pretty cool nonetheless!
