The Knife of Dunwall coming to Dishonored April 16th
I've been on a short break these past two days, which Bethesda apparently took as a sign to announce the next - and significantly beefier - DLC for Dishonored - The Knife of Dunwall. Yes, unlike Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall is a story unto itself, albeit a smaller one than the main campaign.
In the Knife of Dunwall you play Daud - the villain of the main campaign. Like Corvo, Daud can utilise the powers of The Outsider - with new twists on old abilities - and he has a host of new weapons at his command, along with his assassin minions. The DLC takes place during the same time as the main story, as the press release explains: After assassinating the Empress and forever changing the fate of Dunwall, you embark on a search for redemption. The Outsider reveals the key to your atonement, but who - or what - is Delilah? Accompanied by the Whalers, your loyal band of mercenary assassins, your search will take you through never before seen districts of Dunwall as you face off against new and terrible foes. The press release finished by explaining that Daud's story will wrap up in the third DLC - the newly announced The Brigmore Witches - sometime in the not too distant future. The Knife of Dunwall will be available for $15.95 or 800MSP on April 16th on PC and Xbox 360 with the PlayStation 3 version following the next day. Are you looking forward to more Dishonored? I know not everyone is as big a fan as I am, but you should be, because I have excellent taste. Do you? Let us know in the comments below!
