SimCity should be issue free when it launches in Australia
If you've read the internet, you probably know that EA are having a bit of trouble with SimCity since it launched in the US last night. Some people are having trouble saving their game, while others can't even play it at all. As noted by Kotaku AU however, these issues should be fixed by the time the game releases internationally tomorrow.
According to the latest tweet from the official Origin account, EA are confident the game and service will be stable and issue free when SimCity launches tomorrow - excellent news for all of us excited to get our city management on. I've checked with EA for further word, but I expect they'll say pretty much the same thing. Are you looking forward to SimCity - did you play in the beta? Joaby's excellent review will be up tomorrow in line with the launch, I have an inkling it's pretty positive. I have to say, I was pretty mad when I first learned the game wouldn't get a simultaneous release internationally, but I guess if it means we miss out on frustrating connection issues it's not so bad.
