Australian League of Legends Servers inbound!

Riot Games are the developers of the hugely popular free-to-play MOBA League of Legends - and last week they announced a Sydney based office. And today, as noted by the beautiful people at Ausgamers they have followed that up with the news that LoL will soon have its own Aussie based servers!




Yes, in an official forum post, MasterMirkinen - the current Community Manager for Oceania - explained that two new jobs had opened up at the Sydney based branch - and followed that up with some answers for forum posters - including that servers are headed our way, although they are a couple of months away at the moment.

I know several friends who will be super pumped for this - although it will mean they won't be able to blame it on lag anymore when they screw up.
