Pre-Purchasing Trials Evolution gets you beta access now!

Trials Evolution is an awesome game my friends. Check out Junglist's 5 Inch Floppy, Joaby's excellent review and then re-read that first sentence. See? It's awesome. And after its developers - RedLynx - had a runaway success with the game on the Xbox Live Arcade, they decided to bring it to PC on March 21st as Trials Evolution Gold Edition. Best of all, the Gold Edition is now available for pre-purchase on Steam - and doing so gets you immediate access to the beta!




Ubisoft (who are publishing the game on PC) explained today that during the beta they will be hosting a competition, wherein you can win fantastic, as of yet unnamed, prizes by making beautiful and entertaining tracks using Trials Evolutions' built in Track Editor.

Trials Evolution Gold Edition will set you back $24.99, thanks to the wonderful Australia Tax - but it's still a pretty smashing deal - for that you don't just get all of Trials Evolutions' tracks, you also get all of the tracks from RedLynx's first incredibly popular XBLA game - Trials HD (let's forget about Trials 2 for now.) Personally, I'm looking forward to it and the prospect of joining in the beta right now is pretty tempting. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below!
