The War Z is available on Steam again...

You no doubt remember The War Z. It was taken off Steam late last year for being a crazy mess, providing us all with a lot of good laughs along the way. I said I wouldn't talk about it anymore and I had hoped to keep that promise - but today The War Z was added back onto Steam and it seemed important to let you know.

The War Z
I smile when I see this picture now. I think it's Stockholm Syndrome.

When it was pulled, there were claims it would come back once it had certain... kinks ironed out - so does its readdition now mean those kinks are gone? A look at the Steam page certainly shows that its description has been updated - there is no mention of player limits to maps, or private servers, or skills. Perhaps by now things have changed?

Well, soon I'll be able to tell you definitively. Chomping on a cigar and laughing maniacally, Joaby insisted I spend some time playing The War Z to find out exactly how much it has improved. I only hope I live to tell the tale.

Is Joaby paying you for your purchase and the anguish and suffering?

Metascore: 23. No other game would put their metascore on their steam page if it was that low. Hilarious.

Which included Valves input. If the game is still a mess, Valve would have something to answer to themselves, now.

Not necessarily Hotcakes. It's not like you can go "this game is still a mess, now I'm going to hold valve responsible". We have no idea what the scope of valve's involvement was.

I'd think 'very little' would be Valve's involvement. It isn't really their job to make sure a game is good, just to provide a platform for its sale. You don't sue EB Games when your copy of Dynasty Warriors 20 turns out to be the same as Dynasty Warriors 5, only with glitches...

You shouldn't buy this game Lim. Nothing has proven otherwise that this game isn't the scam it was announced to be by that ex-employee. The more people that buy into it even if it's just for "lols" or curiosity is still supporting this company :\
