Brutal Legend coming to PC February 26
Double Fine today announced via press release that Brütal Legend - their heavy metal Action Adventure/Real Time Strategy title first released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 back in 2009 - will now be coming to PC, hitting Steam on February 26.
Brütal Legend follows Eddie Riggs, a roadie for the awful heavy metal band Kabbage Boy. Following an accident Eddie (who is voiced by Jack Black by the way) is transported to a magical world of heavy metal, where he meets various characters voiced by metal personalities like Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy and Rob Halford. Like heavy metal itself, Brütal Legend was not massively popular upon release but has a cult following of dedicated fans (would it be a Double Fine title if it didn't?) and proved popular with critics - as Joaby's review shows. Brütal Legend is currently available to pre-order for $14.99 - 25% off its normal price of $19.99. Have you played Brütal Legend? Or have you been waiting for it to come to PC? If you've been waiting, I should note, you are mad - it's been four years. I realise it was justified in this one instance but you need to learn to let go. Anyway, let us know about your various mental instabilities in the comments below!
