Batman: Arkham ??? coming this year

Earnings calls can be daunting and dull as heck. They are all about explaining how your company did financially to investors, and how they will do in the future. Maybe that's how the earnings call for Time Warner Incoporated managed to slip past everyone last week, even though it mentioned Batman - not even Batman can save a person from boredom when they are listening to an earnings call.

Today however, the earnings call transcripted by Yahoo! Finance was discovered by VG247, in which it was explained that 2013 would be a strong year for Warners, who will at some point this year be releasing the next installment in the Batman Arkham franchise.

That's not a huge amount of information, although you will no doubt recall Rocksteady explaining after the launch of Batman: Arkham City that they would be changing things up with their next game and going Silver Age. So whether this next title in the Arkham franchise will be developed by Rocksteady or someone different entirely is not yet known.

There is speculation the next game will be Arkham State, Arkham World or Arkham Universe even, but what I'd like to see is Batman: Arkham Inc. Set it during the Batman Inc. stage and play as all the different members of the Batman family. Mostly I just want to play as Batwing, because he's cool. And Damian. What do you think the next title in the Batman: Arkham series will be? Let us know in the comments below!

Batman Mansion: You play as Alfred and get to cook, clean and help Batman by searching Google for answers to his questions. If that sounds boring, just wait till the ninja dinosaur DLC drops. It will be worth the wait.

I would play both of those games. In the first one you could polish the armour, chauffeur Wayne's one night stands home and make dry remarks when he wakes up in the afternoon. Follow the button sequence to tell Bruce he is pushing himself too hard!

And in the second one you could move the giant penny in front of the door so batman can't get in, like a superhero sims. Then go to the doctor and try to explain how you caught rabies off a bat!

Batman Arkham Finances

You take control of Wayne Enterprises investment portfolio using real world stock prices (needs constant internet connection). Each session starts with Batman changing out of his costume into casual slacks and shirt before sitting down in front of a computer with his usual catch phrase "No wayne no gain!"

Bruce Wayne is sitting in his cubicle when all of us sudden, who walks in but fan favourite the joker! He's not doing any work - as usual! The joker teases Bruce about his wife - they don't really get along but they both know Bruce loves them so they aren't mean about it. The Joker tells bruce another of his crazy schemes and bruce somehow gets pulled into it, cut to Atlantic City with Bruce and the Joker standing over a dead hooker. Bruce looks at the camera as it zooms in on his face and says "How do I get into these crazy capers?!" Roll credits.

What about Arkham Asylum 2: Responsible Mental Health... As Batman's 'Bruce Wayne', you need to invest your money into proper mental health professionals who don't feed the derangments of the inmates by trapping them in giant cells that are themes towards their personal illness. Hire people with degrees who aren't on the verge of break downs themselves and who have no aspirations of crazy science powers! WOW!

Batman Arkham rehabilitation.

Batman is forced to do community service for the 4,623 counts of murder/use of excessive force in apprehending the inmates of Arkham Asylum and Prison.

Game is entirely quicktime events.

Such as:
'Helping an inmate from his wheelchair to the toilet', if you fail the quicktime event, Batman succumbs to his natural urges, pulls the toilet clean from floor/wall and smashes it over the inmates spine.

'Helping an inmate learn to develop trust of other inmates through fun icebreaker games', if you fail the quicktime event, batman, one my one, ties inmates to the gargoyles that are for some reason inside the room.

'Helping an inmate develop lifeskills such as cleaning and cooking' if the quicktime event is successful, batman and inmate will prepare a lovely Pecan pie for the other inmates. If you fail the quicktime event, batman beats the inmate with the cooking tray dropping the oven on his legs.

Guys, all of these suggestions are brilliant. However, what about DLC? I want to buy every one of these games but I also want to be raped by over priced DLC's. Show me the goods!!

Yeah guys come on. You gotta have DLC. Think of the bigger picture. For example, in Grey's example where you help the man onto the toilet - maybe Bruce only gets to wear gloves if you purchase gloves DLC.

I can think of some DLC for Batman: Arkham Rehabilitation. I'll call it: "3 Missed Calls".

Batman misses 3 calls from his parole officer durings his community service period as he is battling... I dunno... Laser Face Man... Which marks him as offically having skipped his required parole duties. As a result he is arrested and placed in a normal prison, not a super hero prison. I

In normal prison you'll need to collect packets of smokes hidden in walls and under beds and pick one of 5 exciting activities like 'making lisence plates', 'working out' and 'prison church society'.

Watch out, however, as in real prison other inmates attack you in groups of 6 - 10 and do not attack you one at a time. Tap X as fast as you can to maintain your anal cherry as 'Butch', 'Chuck', 'B-Dawg' and 'The Plunger' attempt to make you their *****. Can you hook up with a gang by shanking someone before you lose the ability to pass solids??
