Skyrim's Dragonborn DLC now available
The second big DLC expansion for Skyrim is now available! Called Dragonborn, it has you travelling to Solstheim - the island to the north of Morrowind. Cool people will remember Solstheim as the location of Morrowind's Bloodmoon expansion, although this time instead of lycanthropy you will get the ability to mount and ride dragons. I think you know what I'm saying.
Dragonborn's plot has you facing off against the first Dragonborn - an ancient Dragon Priest who, like you, can absorb the souls of dragons and grow in power. Along with Solstheim you will also travel to Apocrypha, the plane of Oblivion ruled by Hermaeus Mora - the Daedric Prince of Fate and Knowledge. Naturally there is also a giant selection of new side quests, weapons, armour and things to do. Embedded below is the trailer for Dragonborn - it's a Youtube clip however, so it will be metered content. I'll be sure to update this post once it hits our videos library. Bethesda recently also released an update to their free High Resolution DLC to include Dragonborn, so be sure to update it if you have automatic updates turned off. Dragonborn is available on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, costing approximately $25 - although you can get it cheaper if you have a look around. Are you going to grab Dragonborn or have you already? Or are you taking a break from Skyrim? Let us know in the comments below!
