New Bioshock Infinite trailer steps out of the 80s
Bioshock Infinite comes out on March 26th. That is too far away, far too far away. I want to play it now, not in March like some sucker. Unfortunately we do have to wait, so in the meantime it's good that we have an excellent and smartly unique new trailer to check out.
What sets this trailer apart from the pack is its style - instead of being a straight gameplay clip (sorry to those who were hoping for one) it is done in the style of an 80s documentary. Hosted by the fictional Alistar Bloom, it follows the floating city of Columbia's rise into the air, succession from the Union and disappearance. It's an outstanding watch, similar in style to the old In Search Of series, with Alistar Bloom sounding very reminiscent of Rod Serling. You can watch it embedded below - it's a Youtube clip, so it will be metered. Due to the weather, it might not hit the videos library for a while, but I'll be sure to update the post once it does. Personally I'd watch an entire series like this - and I would kill for that Skyhook. What do you think? Let us know in the comments below. |
