StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm Cinematic Trailer

No matter what else you think about Blizzard these days, boy oh boy do they still make exceptional CG trailers, as this newly released trailer for the upcoming stand alone StarCraft 2 expansion - Heart of the Swarm - displays. I do not care for StarCraft in any way shape or form, but by the end of this trailer I knew I would be buying HotS, even as the ever-quieter voice of fiscal responsibility in my head screamed in bewilderment.

The trailer shows Kerrigan and her Zerg forces assaulting the Terran, which might seem odd to anyone who has finished Wings of Liberty. It makes more sense by the end of the video however, so go watch it already! As always you can watch it embedded below or in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course. StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm will be available worldwide on the twelth of March - although you can of course prepurchase it from Blizzard via the official site.
