Dead Space 3 demo arrives January 2013

Dead Space 3's demo will hit the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live on January 22nd, EA today announced - though they are giving out earlier access via the official website if you want to check it out sooner. Those lucky enough to get an early access code will be able to play the Xbox 360 demo on the 15th of January, although you have to have an Origin account to gain access.

If you're not sure what you'll be getting into with Dead Space 3 you should check out Joaby's Hands On from earlier this year - it will be interesting to see which of the 'two games' Joaby discusses will be on show in the demo. The press release mentions co-op, but presumably it will have single player as well - and hopefully Visceral will have managed to make the two experiences feel more natural.

In the meantime if you want to get into the Dead Space spirit, EA have released a new trailer which recaps the events of Dead Space and Dead Space 2 - without being too spoilery in case you haven't played it yet.
