Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation and LittleBigPlanet Karting reviewed

There are more things in heaven and earth, they say, than Call of Duty. Which is true - and to prove it, you can right now read GameArena's reviews of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation and LittleBigPlanet Karting! kozeeii spent the past week getting to grips with AC3:Liberation on the PlayStation Vita and he's ready to give us his verdict, along with his beautiful, beautiful words:

It is her body and therefore her choice, but I would never let a dude with that moustache cop a feel like that.

One of the most appealing components of the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been freedom. Freedom to tackle assassinations, gameplay and the semi-open world as you see fit. You can go it all stealth-like sticking to the rooftops and shadows or mix it up and get your hands dirty face to face. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation moves in a different direction by not only showcasing the first female protagonist of the series, Aveline de Grandpré - an assassin of mixed French and African heritage, but offers three distinct personas for her to inhabit each with specific abilities and characteristics.

That... sounds like a weird move for a series about running and climbing. How does it turn out though - does it make the game better or worse? Is the game well suited to the handheld PS Vita? Does anyone know why Ubisoft called it Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation instead of the more sensible Assassin's Creed: Liberation? You'll have to read the very excellent review of Assassin's Creed 3: Liberation to find out!

If you only own Sony's big console however, you'll want to check out my review of LittleBigPlanet Karting - a game more about exploring and creating than racing. It even features what some might call a tract on video tutorials - literally the worst thing in the universe. I also talk a fair bit about LittleBigPlanet Karting though, because Joaby refuses to print what he calls 'the written equivalent of a homeless person shouting at strangers.':

Nevertheless, if you keep that in mind - and save your creations regularly - you can have a lot of fun in LittleBigPlanet Karting. The amount of customisation available is truly amazing - along with tracks you can create your own weaponators, your own carts and even your own assets to show off to the world. The pre-made tracks are excellent fun for belting around with some friends and while I’ve had the connection drop out at times, it never did so during any races against opponents on the internet.

If you keep what in mind? It's a secret, the only way to find out is to read the review! You have no choice now, it's like an episode of Lost. Except, you know, with decent writing. SNIP SNAP. Have you played AC3:Liberation or LBP:Karting? Do you agree or disagree with what we wrote? Do you think every game should follow the "Series:Subtitle" naming format, or are you happy with only 90% of them doing so? Let us know in the comments below!
