Hitman: Absolution compares you to 47 and finds you wanting
It is November 12th today, which means two things - One: Joaby's birthday is this week, on Thursday I believe. I sent him two things: a poem I wrote on the side of a box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, and a nearly full box of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. Two: Hitman: Absolution comes out in just over a week! Next Tuesday it will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC, giving everyone time to find their red ties and shave their heads in preparation.
The latest trailer for the game explains that there are very few in this world as capable at assassinating as Agent 47, which is why IO Interactive have given us Instinct Mode. Instinct mode functions similar to Batman's Detective mode in Arkham Asylum and Arkham City, highlighting objects and people to help us perform a staggeringly wide variety of misdeeds. As the trailer's angry lady announcer explains however, the best players will eschew Instinct mode entirely, relying on their wits and 47-like reflexes to take them through the various challenges awaiting the bald assassin. You can watch the trailer embedded below or in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course. Are you grabbing Hitman: Absolution - or have you already pre-ordered and nabbed your copy of Sniper Challenge? Let us know in the comments below! |
