Borderlands Legends out now on iOS; Halloween Shift codes for everyone else!

2K Games has released their iOS counterpart for the ever-popular Borderlands series, titled Borderlands Legends. Using a top down perspective as opposed to the FPS nature of the main titles, Borderlands Legends has you control the four main characters from the first game - Mordecai, Lilith, Brick and Roland - against waves of enemies in arena style combat.

Legends has a heck of a lot packed into it, with randomised quests and, naturally, thousands of weapons available shoot enemies with. Controlling all four characters, you wage war on the various inhabitants of Pandora, leveling up your team and gaining new skills along the way. I've yet to play it (it's still downloading) but it looks pretty decent. Annoyingly, there are different versions of the game for the iPhone and iPad - you can grab the iphone version here and the iPad version here.

In other Borderlands news, to correspond with Halloween, Gearbox Software has put out a bunch of Shift codes for Borderlands 2, unlocking 'spooky' Halloween skins for each of the playable characters. You can access the codes for your version of the game via their imgur album - click on the pictures to the right side of the main picture to view the codes for each character. Gearbox has several other Shift codes lined up apparently, so be sure to check out their Twitter account and Facebook page for more info.
