Ubisoft gives us ACIII launch trailer and PS3 DLC details

We draw ever closer to one of the biggest releases of the year, with Assassin's Creed 3 hitting PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 next Wednesday the 31st, the PC on November 23rd and Wii U on November 30th. With that in mind, Ubisoft have put out the launch trailer for ACIII, giving us an awesome and infuriatingly week early look at Connor in action.

That's not all however, as the PlayStation Blog had a chat with Matt Turner - ACIII's script writer - to discuss the PlayStation 3 exclusive DLC designed for the game. Focusing on Benedict Arnold - the man who attempted to thwart the American Revolution through treachery - the DLC consists of four missions in which George Washington asks Connor to look into a plot to overthrow West Point.

Unlike the 'Tyranny of King Washington' DLC, the PS3 exclusive Benedict Arnold DLC will take place in a timeline similiar to our own - and includes historically accurate scenes fleshed out with the actual words spoken by those who took part. It sounds pretty neat - and the interview is well worth reading, so go check it out!
