I loved the heckery out of Guild Wars 2, as you can tell from my weeks spent playing it. And as is often the case with good MMOs during various pagan rituals, ArenaNet are giving us another reason to love it with the Shadow of the Mad King event - kicking off today and running through until All Saints Day (November 1st.)

The events take place over four Acts, each bringing new quests and content and the like. There are also new things to buy in the gem store - and every Black Lion Chest you open during the Mad King's reign will have one of six Halloween themed weapon skins. Yes you read that correctly, Black Lion Chests will be marginally worthwhile.

You can read more about the event as things unlock over on the official site and embedded below is the trailer for The Shadow of the Mad King. You can, as always, also check it out in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course.
