XCOM: Enemy Unknown Street Date breaks and we review it
Those of you hanging out for Firaxis' reboot of the classic X-COM series have had that wait shortened a little - the game has broken street date and is available for purchase right now. If you're on the fence about the purchase Limimi has taken on the game in our official review, and he's apparently a bit sad that he let me die.
Due to bugs which will hopefully be removed soon, you might attempt to send a soldier to the top floor of a building or some scaffolding, only to have the game decide you meant to send them into the completely uncovered area beneath. Sometimes it triggers the change when you choose where to move and at other times it flicks back and forth between the two options at the speed of sound. Either way, I can’t imagine how I will explain it to Joab ‘Geormie’ Gilroy’s grieving family. ![]() I imagine my grieving family would tell him that they want results, not excuses.
