Ubisoft announces AC3 DLC plans
Ubisoft announced DLC plans for Assassin's Creed 3 yesterday, explaining that the game would come with a Season Pass (of course) giving you access to the five currently planned DLC packs set to hit over the 6 months following Assassin's Creed 3's launch. The DLC will include additional multiplayer and single player content - including a brand new single player campaign titled 'The Tyranny of King Washington.'
As you might be able to guess from the title, the new single player campaign won't extend the story of AC3, instead taking place in an alternate timeline where George Washington - first President of America - accepts a crown and dashes the enlightenment ideals of democracy and free enterprise for a return to hereditary monarchy. Heck yes. Naturally the Season Pass will be available from the release of AC3 - October 31st on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and November 23rd on PC. Joaby talked about his hands-on time with the game yesterday and it's a phenomenal read - check it out here.
