PAX Australia debuts in Melbourne July 2013

At the latest Penny Arcade Expo in August it was announced that the popular convention would be coming to Australia - although specifics hadn't been worked out at that time. Now however, they apparently have - with Kotaku AU getting a hold of a marketing document with all of the details.

The leaked document explains that the PAX Australia event is being run by ReedPOP - the events management organisation responsible for the other PAX events - and will be taking place at the Melbourne Showgrounds from July 19-21 next year. This tramples on previous rumours the event would take place in Brisbane - personally I'd prefer if it went down in Sydney - that way I wouldn't have to visit Melbourne.
