Far Cry 3's PC Specs revealed
Ubisoft have today announced the specifications your PC will require to play Far Cry 3 when it hits on November 29th - and as you might expect, it will require some firepower. As explained by Joystiq, at a minimum a dual core processor is required, along with 4GB of RAM and a DirectX9c compatible video card - though if you don't have that I'm not certain how you expected to play it in the first place.
It's recommended you have a fair bit more than that however - at least a Quad Core CPU, 4GB of memory and a DirectX11 video card with 1GB of dedicated RAM. For the best performance, you will naturally want the latest video card, latest processor and 8GB of RAM.
I don't have $1300 to throw away on a video card so it looks like I'm going to have to live with less-than-maximum settings for Far Cry 3. Which makes me sad. Do you have a decent enough PC to be able to play Far Cry 3? On which setting? Let us know in the comments below!
