XCOM: Enemy Unknown demo now available on Steam!

We come closer and closer to being able to play Firaxis' XCOM: Enemy Unknown on October 12th, but if you can't wait that long you can now play the demo through Steam! The demo includes a scripted tutorial mission, a look in at the XCOM base - where you will do research and outfit your soldiers for battle against the alien menace and a mission under your control. A demo for the console versions is also on its way soon.

As the demo is on Steam, we can't be certain it will be unmetered content - choosing your content provider on Steam is a bit hit and miss. You should definitely keep an eye on it though, as it's a whopping 5.4GB of demo - although having played it when I was supposed to be writing this up, I can say it's worthwhile.
