A Borderlands 2 Marathon For Charity!

This weekend I'll be joining in on a Marathon of epic proportions as those cheeky cads from RawDLC.com are hosting a Borderlands 2 non-stop four player co-op extravaganza for Child's Play Charity.

From 6pm tomorrow night head to rawdlc.com/live to watch as a whole stack of us from the Australian games scene play through Borderlands 2 from start to finish. Some of the other guests include Luke Lawrie from Gameplanet (and The GAP), Mark Serrels from Kotaku and Stephen Farrelly from Ausgamers, Rae and Maude from Geekbomb, Guy Blomberg from every hangover I've ever had, 2011 Penthouse Pet of the Year Ashlee Adams... plus a whole buttload of people who will be strolling through from time to time (or so I'm told).

Oh yeah, and wingus and dingus from Rawdlc will be there. Of course.

If you're super interested in watching as I steal every piece of loot I can, make sure you watch from the very beginning - I'm on the roster at the start and at the end, and I've already played and finished Borderlands 2, so I know where all the sweetest loot is.

It's gonna be a fun day and a bit, so head to the site, watch us play some games (of both the video and drinking variety) and donate to a really great cause.

She would make more money getting her tits out rather then playing a game but I guess its easier.

I just got my borderlands 2 today so I wont be watching, marcus bobble heads pretty good. Got an extra code for the gold key/extra character/gold gun 8).

The golden key - the loot in the chest is better the higher your level is, so hold out as long as you can.

Did you join Shift Joaby? That'll get you another key. Or you apparently there's a game file you can edit, thought that might ruin it.

There's .ini edits out there to give yourself 255 keys, but I wouldn't touch that stuff if you want to keep using Steam. I wouldn't be surprised if Valve starts handing out free bans for it, despite the people arguing "They should have protected the file if they didn't want people to change it! They can't do anything to me for this!"

I'm pretty sure that Steam's TOS says that they can do anything up to and including selling your house on eBay if you mess with their stuff, but it's Valve - summer sales mean they're not in it for the money, right?

Haha, yeah I joined Shift and snaked a key, picked up two purps on my level 36 guy. Then I went out and got whites that were better almost instantly /facepalm

Well considering the game only just released this is an absolutely godawful time for a stream like this. Good luck getting the two viewers who have no interest in playing this game themselves.

It's also said to be affected by the number of players playing. But I have to wonder, what�s the point? The best time to use your key is when you're at the level cap. How useful is that awesome gun going to be exactly? The whole thing sucks imo. I guess you and a friend could give that kickass weapon to a new character� meh.
