Get Bundling with the Humble Bundle, Indie Royale and Indie Gala packs!
We don't report on bundles too often anymore, because while they are excellent value, it seems like that's all we would report on - since the Humble Bundle kicked things off last year they have become astonishingly popular. This week sees three awesome new bundles appearing however and I would have felt bad if I didn't tell you about them.
The Humble Bundle Bonus: Dustforce The Humble Bundle 6 gives you 5 amazing games for however much you feel like paying, plus soundtracks - and an extra game if you pay more than the average - currently sitting at $5.77. The games are the exploratory platformer (read: Metroidvania) Rochard, the addictive Breakoutesque Shatter, top down space trader/combat/rpg Space Pirates and Zombies, the Diablo-like Torchlight and the steampunk physics puzzle platformer Vessel. Paying more than the average also gets you the addictive and difficult platformer Dustforce - check out Gameboffin's excellent review to see why it's worth $6 on its own. Indie Royale's Back To School Bundle gives you the side scrolling strategy game Swords & Soldiers - plus its Super Saucy Sausage Fest DLC, the addictive Lunar Flight, the incredibly weird exploratory platformer Bunny Must Die, DDR and RPG mashup Sequence, the anime-styled shmup Flying Red Barrel, the retro chic puzzle shmup Qilone and the ridiculous puzzle game Cute Things Dying Violently. You also get the soundtracks for all bar two of the games and currently if you pay more than $7.79 you get minusbaby's Bias album thrown in. Finally you can pay whatever you choose for the Indie Gala 9 and receive two Android games - Battlegroup and Call of Cthulu: The Wasted Land and two PC games - the original Worms and Alien Breed 2. Pay more than $5.73 however and you'll also get Broken Sword 1 2 and 3, Worms Blast, Worms Crazy Gold and two more currently unrevealed games - all in all it's a pretty sweet deal. The Indie Gala and Humble Bundles have roughly 12 days to go, while the Indie Royale bundle only has another 6 days to go. As is often the case, part of your proceeds for the Indie Gala and Humble Bundles go to charity too - with the Humble Bundle backing Child's Play and the EFF and Indie Gala donating part of the proceeds to AbleGamers and to help victims of the Emilia Romagna Earthquake. Have you grabbed any of these bundles yet, or are you planning to? Let us know in the comments below!
