Obsidian teases new 'Project X' with cryptic website

If you go on over to obsidian.net - the official website of Obsidian Entertainment - you will notice something different. Instead of the standard Obsidian Entertainment related news and information, you'll see a dark page with an Ouroboros - the snake eating its own tail of ancient mythology - surrounding the number 4 and the words:

"What do the words mean? Nothing. The Dirge of Eír Glanfath is sound without form, a lone voice crying out in mourning because it must."

Oh, well fair enough. Some enterprising people took it a step further however - and if you check out the source for the page you'll find:

To tenderness, fellowship. To fellowship, vigilance. So bring we all to the Night Market.
I am the Spindle of Esenath. Know me by my light and stand with me in darkness.

Which, um, doesn't tell us much more. Currently speculation rests with it being a Dungeon Siege 4 - given the four it certainly makes sense - and the Spindle of Esenath, Night Market and Dirge of Eir Glanfath are definitely not Wheel of Time references - the other possibility currently put about. Clicking on the Ourosboros links to a forums Obsidian have set up specifically for people to speculate about this Project X, so if you'd like to bandy about your conspiracy theories you can do so there - or tell us what you think it could be in the comments below!
