Natural Selection 2 Exosuits up

Unknown Worlds is finally inserting the Exosuit into Natural Selection 2 in a patch dropping today - along with a host of other features. The game has been going strong for nearly two years now - I bought into the Alpha 25 months ago today - and it's great to see how close the team is to dropping a finished product.

Outside of the Exosuit - which should do wonders for balancing in the game - the patch is also bringing a remake of Veil from the first Natural Selection, an overhaul of the physics system, better UIs and hints and a revamped Commander system.

Embedded below is the trailer for the Exosuit - it was created using the Spark Cinematic Editor inside the game's engine, which is just a mindblowing effort from such a small team. The SCE will be included with the game - as will a map editor, animation tools... everything you need to mod the game to your heart's content.
