Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance release date: February 21st

Hideo Kojima - the man, the legend, announced an update to the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance website on twitter yesterday, revealing a US release date for the game - February 21st. Konami's Japanese PR Team followed it up with a press release, revealing the same February 21st date for the rest of the world - apart from the UK and Ireland who have to wait a day.

As you may or may not know, Metal Gear Rising is being developed not by Kojima (although he did have a hand in its development), but by Platinum Games - the developers responsible for Bayonetta and Vanquish. The game stars Raiden, the incredibly unpopular star of Metal Gear Solid 2, slicing and dicing people and watermelons. Joaby became enamoured of it when he got hands on with the game - you should definitely check out what he had to say if you haven't yet.
