Tearaway announced for PlayStation Vita
Tearaway was one of the biggest and cutest surprises of Sony's Gamescom press conference - a PlayStation Vita game developed by LittleBigPlanet creators Media Molecule set in a papercraft world in which you help a little paper guy with an envelope for a head deliver a message to... you. Tearaway is a 3D Platformer which makes use of the various peripherals built into the PSVita - you can tap the back screen to beat drums or punch your finger through the paper floor and scare iota's enemies and you can blow into the microphone to cause a gust of wind.
In a blog post by Media Molecule put up after the conference, the developer explained a bit more about the game - the message you are helping iota deliver will apparently be unique to each player - and while Media Molecule are remaining tight lipped on the details, Tearaway is still a part of the creative gaming genre like LittleBigPlanet and will let you customise and design your world around you. Embedded below is the trailer for Tearaway, which you can also watch in our videos library - going full screen for HD cuteness. What do you think? What would you think if I told you Media Molecule uploaded the plans for a papercraft Elk on official site so you can make one yourself? I thought so!
