Double Fine's Iron Brigade hits PC next week
Way back in 2011, Tim Schafer's studio Double Fine created an excellent third person tower defense title named Trenched on the Xbox Live Arcade. Set in a World War 1 style atmosphere, you piloted a giant mechanised trench - sort of like an open top mecha. Due to a board game in Europe already existing with that title however, Trenched was renamed to Iron Brigade - and now it's finally hitting the PC on August 13th.
The PC release of the game will be available for digital download and will come packaged with Rise of the Martian Bear - the DLC expansion for the game. To celebrate the impending release, the XBLA version is now available for 800 Microsoft points instead of its previous price of 1200 MSP. We didn't review Iron Brigade when it came out, but Junglist did on the 5 Inch Floppy - and you can see what he has to say embedded below or in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course. Have you played Iron Brigade or will you be picking it up when it hits the PC? Let us know in the comments below!
