Mists of Pandaria release date announced - September 25th!

Blizzard today announced that Mists of Pandaria - the fourth expansion for World of Warcraft - will be available to play from September 25th. As WoW fans no doubt already know, this fourth expansion unveils the continent of Pandaria, the new Pandaran race and a new class - the Monk.

There will be a collector's edition of MoP for enthusiastic WoW fans and Blizzard have also announced a digital deluxe version - featuring the same digital content as the collector's edition, without the physical stuff and with a reduced price. The digital content included will be:

• Imperial Quilen flying mount


• Quilen In-Game Pet


• Exclusive Infested Orc and Night Elf Templar Battle.net portraits


• Diablo III Banner Sigil and Accent

Those who purchase the collector's edition will also get a making of DVD, soundtrack, art book and mouse pad - and while the digital deluxe edition might allay some of the collector's edition fever which strikes with any WoW expansion, you might want to go and pre-order one now if you want that sweet mouse pad. If the digital deluxe version is all you'd want - or the straight up normal version, you can pre-order either now via the official website. Are you excited for Mists of Pandaria? WoW has never been my bag, but I bet Joaby is starting to feel that itch again - the World of Warcraft one, not the secret one.
