Darksiders 2 dev diary discusses drops and diversification

Since the addition of loot was announced for Darksiders 2 I've been curious as to how they'd implement it and if you have been similarly curious, this latest dev diary goes a long way to explaining it. It's good stuff and I like the addition of the Possessed weapons, which increase in power as you feed your lesser items into them. Most of all however, I like that the gear you equip changes the look of your character, because that is my favourite unnecessary addition to any RPG.
