Darksiders 2 goes live action with its latest trailer

And here we are folks - July. The dreaded month of silence, where nobody wants to bring out any games, or talk about games, or something. Because they hate us. Well, maybe not that. This week isn't so bad actually - Spelunky hits the XBLA on Wednesday! I'll have a reason to turn on my Xbox 360 again! But that's not what we're talking about, we're talking about the death of video games. Video games, like that great two thousand year old miracle man*, die and we will have to mourn their death until they resurrect in the near future.

Somehow that started off as a segue, but you can see I lost my train of thought. The point is: death, waiting until July is over, Darksiders 2. Connect the dots people, Darksiders 2 has you playing as Death and it comes out in August. Do I have to feed you next? Sheesh.

This trailer is cool, in that it starts off with some old guy reading a Johnny Cash quote from a big book, and it's live-action blended with cinematics - a popular trend these days.
