Guild Wars 2 release date announced - August 28th

By now you either fit into one of two categories - you are excited for Guild Wars 2, or you are a chump. You've read my hands on and my second excursion into the game, you've watch Junglist's 5 Inch Floppy covering the game and you are excited. Well you can quell that excitement very soon, as NCSoft announced today that Guild Wars 2 will release on the 28th of August!

There is still one more beta weekend coming up, going from July 20th to the 22nd - so if you pre-order you can still check it out before it goes live. For something to do in the meantime however, you can watch the Launch trailer embedded below or in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course. Are you excited for Guild Wars 2?
