Far Cry 3 delayed until November
This is a little depressing, which is fitting considering the day we are having here in Brisbane, but Far Cry 3 - originally scheduled to launch in September, has been pushed back to November. November 29th specifically In a little bit of silver lining, it looks like we are getting it before the US does - they're not getting it until December 4. Ubisoft are saying that the November 29th date will be the same across platforms - the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC - which is undoubtedly excellent news.
In other, related news, Ubisoft announced today that Rocksmith - the guitar based game which works with almost every electric guitar on the market - will actually be coming to Australia! Rocksmith will land in Australia - with an addon allowing people to play with a bass guitar - on September 27th on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, with a PC release following on October 18th. To pretty up this news item, I've embedded below the Co-op multiplayer trailer for Far Cry 3 - just so you can remember what you won't be getting until November now. You can also check it out in our videos library - going full screen for HD of course.
