Kojima confirms MGS5 - not yet finished with Snake
Hideo Kojima will never get away from Solid Snake it seems - although it doesn't seem to bother him too much. In an interview with French magazine IG (via CVG) Kojima confirmed that he would be going back to Solid Snake for Metal Gear Solid 5 even though he "wanted to let him die at the end of Guns of the Patriots."
The new game will use Kojima Productions' own Fox Engine of course - and plenty of sneaking missions, with infiltration and convincing people to do favours for you. Kojima has also been inspired by Deus Ex: Human Revolution: "I liked the idea of social interactions in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, but we will see. And if I say more, the female ninja public relations officer, who is behind the door, I will be carved up into pieces. So it's better that we meet again when the time comes to talk about Metal Gear Solid 5." Here's looking forward to whenever that is. Are you looking forward to a Metal Gear Solid 5? Of course you are. No, I don't want to hear about stupidly long cutscenes, you are looking forward to it. Tell me how much you are looking forward to it in the comments below!
