Ok, now it's Ubisoft's turn. What will we see? Assassin's Creed 3 no doubt, probably something about Rayman since they are milking the hell out of that now. Hopefully more Imagine titles. Ok, not really. Let's go!

EDIT: I've added a wrap up at the bottom with some of my thoughts on the presentation.

8:05am - It begins. Flo Rida signs a freaking song. What fresh hell is this.

8:08am - Aisha Tyler (Lana Kane!) is hosting this conference, it begins with Just Dance 4, who cares.

8:10am - Toby Turner joins her who the hell is he?

8:12am - We kick off real games with Far Cry 3! Yay!

8:13am - Welp, Far Cry 3 trailer kicks off with a half naked lady.

8:15am - I've been a bit worried about Far Cry 3, given how scripted the entire thing has looked, but this gameplay trailer seems to be a bit better so far.

8:17am - Vaas is doing an excellent Joker impersonation.

8:18am - You can shoot the lock off a tiger's cage, setting it free to attack people! Then kill the tiger!

8:19am - A trippy dream sequence. Scripted to hell with more banging.

8:20am - So insanity seems to be a major theme in Far Cry 3

8:21am - Some guy outright asked "How much freedom do you have in Far Cry 3?" The answer? An archipelago of islands to explore!

8:22am - Aisha Tyler has the same jokes as me! I'm so excited!

8:23am - Next up we have Splinter Cell: Blacklist. We saw some of this at Microsoft's conference.

8:24am - The trailer seems to be full cinematic, which is not great since I want to know about the gameplay

8:26am - A new Marvel Avengers title - Battle for Earth.

8:27am - Wii U comes up now! Sort of excited!

8:28am - Rayman Legends. Why does everyone love Rayman, I don't get it even remotely.

8:29am - Rayman Legends has a special character designed specifically for the Wii U, for co-op gameplay.

8:31am - Legends can have up to 5 players at a time - 4 regular Wiimotes plus Wii U Game Pad.

8:32am - Ok holy ****. They revealed a new map, which uses constant scrolling platforming for the regular players while the Wii U player taps objects on the screen in time to music. That's really cool.

8:34am - I love Aisha Tyler.

8:35am - Next up is a survival horror set in a zombie outbreak. Titled?

8:36am - Oh, it's called Zombi U.

8:37am - They are now showing off the Wii U line up. Oh boy, a freaking Rabbids game! Ok, I get Rayman sort of, it's a fun platformer. But the Raving Rabbids games are just a slap-dash bunch of mini games, why does anyone give a ****?

8:39am - Assassin's Creed III, exciting stuff. This eagle is very interested in what is going on. HOLY **** THE EAGLE JUST TALKED.

8:40am - We have the opening scene from Revelations with Red Coats instead of Templars!

8:42am - Now two French guys are talking about the game and are going to show us some gameplay.

8:44am - Holy goodness gracious. Connor jumps down via tree branches and kills a deer.

8:46am - Mini quests, then we get to see some awesome tree climbing action and he grappling hooks a dude to a tree. Awesome.

8:49am - Climbing trees and mountains makes so much sense, it looks great.

8:50am - Connor doesn't have to stop dead when he one shots a guy anymore, which is sweet.

8:51am - A fan asks will the British be the enemy throughout? The answer? - No, Templars are part of both sides of the war.

8:54am - Next up, we have Shootmania - which you would have seen the trailer for last week. I wish this guy would shut up.

8:55am - Ok, now they have two teams about to play Shootmania, which is cool.

8:57am - The rules pit one attacker vs three defenders. Holy hell this game is fast.

9:00am - It seems the guys won. Which means we need to hear that Toby Turner **** again.

9:02am - Oh thank goodness, we don't. Now it's time for blah blah social blah whatever.

9:04am - It's over. I went to the bathroom, sorry. Now up is an old French man.

9:06am - This trailer is about I have no idea what. ctOS?

9:09am - Ok, so the game is open world, you can control the city around you due to hacking into ctOS.

9:11am - There is a guy with a QR Code for a head.

9:12am - Holy awesome, you can look at anyone and learn info about them apparently, to use in your mission.

9:15am - Ahaha he just deactivated traffic lights, causing an accident.

9:18am - Ok I got severely distracted by this freaking game, it looks cool as heck. It's called Watch Dogs, and it can't come out soon enough.

9:20am - And they are wrapping up. Aisha Tyler is out, guy who I hate is out. Hooray!

So what did we learn? I'll admit, Rayman Legends looks a lot more fun than I expected it to be - and it's good to see them doing something with the Wii U - although it's expected given they are Ubisoft. Zombi U on the other hand... We only got to see a cinematic trailer and while I generally have no problem with that, it was little more than a different take on that Dead Island trailer. You know, that one.

I'm keen to see Splinter Cell: Blacklist in action a bit more, because as I explained on the weekend I have a huge man crush on stealth games - and from what we've seen, Blacklist does not look particularly stealthy. That doesn't mean it won't be a decent game (like Conviction) - but it won't be the awesomeness of Double Agent or Chaos Theory.

The big numbers for me in this presentation were Far Cry 3 and Watch Dogs. I was fairly on board with Far Cry 3 (after being kind of scared by the previous bunch of trailers) after they showed our protagonist jumping off a cliff and swimming to another island, but I got back to my original state of incredible anticipation when they confirmed that it wasn't a set of scripted events.

And Watch Dogs. Holy mother. Looking at npcs and learning info about them was cool, as was the EMP the protagonist drops towards the start - but Watch Dogs cemented itself when the protagonist turned off all of the traffic lights with his mobile, causing a massive pile up. That game can not come out soon enough.

Ubisofts Watch Dogs - a game no one was expecting and completely rocked the show - best of E3 thus far without a doubt, a great way to end their conference. Expecting lots of headlines and buzz around this game for weeks to come.
