Jet Set Radio Vita announced!
Dreamcast lovers need to bust out your PlayStation Vitas, as Sega have announced that the cult success Jet Set Radio will be hitting the handheld console later this Winter! Like the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC versions coming at the same time, the PS Vita version of Jet Set Radio will feature upgraded HD visuals. The PS Vita game will also support using the touch screen to tag graffiti and an as-yet unexplained use of the system's camera. Apart from that however, the game will be the same as the original - the same gameplay, same levels and naturally the same addictive soundtrack.
SEGA aren't the only one with Jet Set Radio fever however, as students and indie developers Arcane Kids showed off their upcoming PC title Zineth recently. Zineth is very reminiscent of the Jet Set Radio titles with its colourful graphics and skate-based gameplay. Best of all, Zineth will be free when it's released in the near future - hopefully giving us something to do while we wait for Jet Set Radio. You can read more about Zenith over on IndieGames.com and you can watch Zineth in action embedded below - it's via Youtube though, so it's metered content. Did you play Jet Set Radio or its sequels on the Dreamcast or Xbox? Let us know in the comments what you think.
