Hi Rez launches Tribes Ascend

Tribes Ascend launches today, giving everyone the chance to get in on the fast paced FPS action. You can jump (and then ski) into the action at the official website, although you might have a bit of trouble right now given that every man and his dog is apparently attempting to play.

If you're looking for a reason to get in (maybe you are too young to have played Tribes? Is that possible?) you can check out Shonks' excellent hands on right here. In short, Tribes Ascend is a fast paced Free to Play FPS - and developers Hi Rez have had an awesome level of interaction with the community - redoing entire parts of the game during the beta.
