It has been a feature packed Friday today, with Joaby's excellent Max Payne 3 MP hands on rwh's latest Board of Gaming column - and not forgetting The GAP, The Weekly Update and 5 Inch Floppy. And yet we still have more for you, with my review of Kid Icarus: Uprising and kozeeii's outstanding review of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City going live!

What did kozeeii think of REORC? Let's have a look:

Visually this is a very ordinary looking game with little wow factor and extremely samey enemy types. There is occasional screen tearing, plus teleporting enemies but these are the least of your worries. Your squad mates (who you can pick for each episodic mission) seem to lean towards the other definition of “Special” Forces doing very little damage to the infected, shooting in almost every direction other than where you want them to and constantly running into your line of fire, both getting in your way, saving your adversaries from death and helping you waste your ammunition.

Sounds... unenthused. One paragraph hardly explains the full game however, so go ahead and read his beautiful words right here! Kid Icarus: Uprising for the 3DS will no doubt get a better rap right? Why am I asking this, I already know. It does:

The inclusion of a stand says one thing loud and clear - the 3DS is the wrong console for this game. This is not an accessory which enables extra functionality, or an optional addition which some people might prefer - it exists only because the game is not playable for an entire mission without it. To play this game on your handheld gaming device, an additional plastic stand and a table is required. How did this get from conception to finished product?

Wait, how is that a better rap? Once again, I already know the answer having played the game and written the review. But you presumably did neither, so go check it out! If you have played either REORC or Uprising, what do you think? Let us know below!
