Hello readers, welcome to The Weekly Video Round Up, where we take a look at some of the videos you might have missed in the past week. This Weekly Video Round Up is dedicated to Frisco, who doesn't like how I write I guess. We have some good videos this week. Here they are.

Armored Core 5 Launch Trailer. Armored Core is the other series with the initials AC, which prompted people to call Assassin's Creed Brotherhood stupid stuff like AssCreeBro. Those people are idiots obviously. We are all capable of wrapping our heads around more than one game series with the primary initials AC, unless Assassin's Creed decides to change to a giant Japanese mech fighting game. I was really looking forward to getting AC5, it looks great and it already has a heap of fans. Now I only look forward to the embrace of death.

Next we have Far Cry 3, which I've said before looks awesome. This trailer looks very good too, although I hope the linearity is to give the trailers structure and not an indication of how the game is set out. I want it to be set out like Far Cry 2, but less broken. If it's as broken though, I probably won't mind, now I have been broken.

Here is one for fans of RPG fans from both sides of the planet - Final Fantasy XIII-2 with the N7 Armor DLC. Deck out Serah and Noel in armor from Mass Effect 3, then ***** about the ending until someone changes it for you. This trailer actually has some fairly significant spoilers, so if you just picked up FFXIII-2 you might want to skip it. I wish I had skipped that comment.

Next we have something different, a trailer for Risen 2. I really enjoyed the first Risen, even though I had to get it via less ordinary channels thanks to it being refused classification. Risen 2 has a serious Pirates of the Carribean theme going on, which I am more than ok with - I really enjoyed that Morrowind/Sid Meier's Pirates! mashup PotC game which came out on the original Xbox even with all of its flaws. Everything has flaws, and everyone. I certainly do.

The following developer diary is for Paradox Interactive's upcoming MMO - Salem - a sandbox MMO in which you build and maintain a town, are afraid of monsters and hang witches. You can actually sign up for the beta right here - it starts in April and if you get three friends to sign up you are guaranteed entry. In those days, they used to have to braid the ropes they used to hang witches themselves. I won't need any rope at all when I hang myself, I'll just use a tie and a doorknob.

Here is a print ad I saw on Tumblr, just in case Frisco doesn't like videos.

Finally this week, we have this video detailing how progression works in The Secret World. It's kind of cool, like all things Secret World related - as you can see in Joaby's hands on - an excellent read. I'd talk more about it, but I can't see through the tears. I have to go, I'm sorry everyone - especially Frisco.

Sigh, just saw this today, I only say these things to make you a better journalist. that, and to appease a few people.

I only didn't like the GW2 article because i found the roleplay too overbearing and sometimes inconsistent, reminded me of this friend of mine that tries too hard at D&D. The fact that it was a particularly long article didn't help either and I stopped reading 1/3 of the way through. As someone that used to play the first GW a lot I didn't want to hear some story about some Norn Engineer but about which things that were rumoured are actually true, and just whether it's more fun and engaging than the original.

Also I take it you don't listen to the GAP, Particularly ep 126

Well that's cool, I don't mind constructive criticism - I thought you were just trolling :P Did you read my first GW2 playthrough? http://www.gamearena.com.au/news/read.php/5110240 - I went into a fair bit more detail in that one, especially with the skills set up and its differences from the original. Also yeah, I've fallen behind on my GAP recently.
