Dark Souls actually coming to PC!?

We normally avoid discussing rumours on GameArena, but the news that Dark Souls may be making its way to PC is too good to pass up. For starters, the very idea of it is awesome - far more awesome than 'Xbox 720 shoing at E3 defanitely!' But more importantly, it seems pretty danged substantial.

After a fan petition last year asking for a PC version of the popular game managed some 70 000 signatures, Namco Bandai responded on their forums saying PC gamers had their attention. And now it's beginning to look serious. You see, as was spotted on NeoGAF, if you take a look through the latest PC PowerPlay - you'll see something on the teaser page for next month's issue - the iconic and incredibly familiar "YOU DIED" text from Dark Souls and Demon Souls.

Namco Bandai are also teasing an upcoming announcement on their Facebook page - waiting until they get enough likes or pings or follows or RTs or whatever the hell it is you do on Facebook. If you use Facebook, you should probably get on it. Are you excited about this? If it does come about (and remember, it's not 100% official yet) I will be purchasing a copy on Day 1 and proudly displaying it next to my 360 version. How about you?
